Since 2021, I have worked with the Union Printers Home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, researching and preserving the history of one of the region's most significant historic properties. Through extensive research, I have developed deep knowledge of both the Home and the International Typographical Union, the labor organization that established and operated it for much of its history.
In addition to historical research, I have led efforts to inventory, preserve, and process the large archival collections remaining on the property. Working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, I have helped lay the foundation for the long-term stewardship of those materials while providing historical context, archival resources, and institutional knowledge to support the site's ongoing adaptive reuse and redevelopment efforts.

Beginning in 2026, I have served as an Archival Consultant on an NHPRC-funded collections survey project administered through the Nevada State Archives. In this role, I work with several archival repositories throughout Nevada to help them improve intellectual and physical control of their collections through training, assessment, and customized survey planning.
The project combines remote instruction, on-site consultation, and ongoing support to help participating organizations better understand, document, and manage their holdings. Working closely with staff and volunteers from the participating organizations, I have developed tailored survey tools and workflows designed to meet the unique needs of each repository. The resulting collection surveys will increase discoverability, support future stewardship efforts, and provide a stronger foundation for long-term public access to Nevada's archival heritage.
